Blood Donation Camp
On May 10, 2024, a Blood Donation Camp was organized at the Startup Foundry by IFIM College, Bangalore. The event, which took place on a Friday, was hosted by Narayana Hridayalaya and saw active participation from both students and staff members. A total of 100 participants, including 22 BBA students, 28 B.Com students, 34 BCA students, and 16 MBA students, attended the camp. Faculty members and non-teaching staff also contributed, with two faculty and two staff members present. The objective of the event was to instill a sense of social responsibility among the students by encouraging them to donate blood, potentially making it a regular habit. The camp was successful, with 100 units of blood collected, reflecting the commitment of the participants. The event served as an experiential learning activity, aligning with the institution’s vision of fostering socially responsible individuals. The NSS volunteers played a significant role in assisting the Narayana Hridayalaya team, ensuring the event’s success.
