Dr. Aswini Patro

Principal and Professor, IFIM Law College

Dr. Aswini Patro, (M.A., Delhi School of Economics; LL.B., Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University; LL.M., Brunel University, London) has twenty years of experience in International Consulting, Litigation Practice, and Academics. Prof. Patro worked as a faculty in KIIT School of Law and was Head of the Department of International Law and Faculty Coordinator for the Post Graduate Programme. Formerly Director at a Chicago-based Legal Services Firm involved in the management of Indian operations and overseeing contract review and management along with litigation management. 

Prof. Patro also worked with the Ministry of Environment, Republic of Macedonia (during 2006-2007) on issues related to international trade law. He represented the Brunel University School of International Law team in “Regulating the European Market”; a conference conducted jointly by Clifford Chance and the Institute of European and Comparative Law, the University of Oxford.

He loves interacting with students and likes to be involved with problem-solving activities for effective learning. He adapts the Socratic and Case Study method in teaching. His interest lies in the Law of Contract, Trade Law, and Commercial Arbitration.

Prof. Shagufta Anjum

Ms. Shagufta Anjum is a self-driven person who always thrives on challenges and constantly sets goals for herself. She strongly believes that “Education is the key to unlocking the golden door of freedom”.

Ms. Shagufta Anjum completed her BA (Law) LLB from Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies, Bangalore in 2003 followed by her LLM, in Business Laws from University Law College, 2006 Bangalore. She has also pursued a PG Program in Corporate Laws, and a PG Diploma in Cyber Laws from the Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune. She has maintained a first-class percentage record all throughout. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Surrogacy from Alliance University, Bangalore. 

She has 15+ years of experience in teaching and has taught a wide variety of subjects from the branches of Business Law, Human Rights Law, Cyber Laws, Constitutional & Administrative Law, Law of Contracts, Interpretation of Statutes, Practical Clinical Courses, Research Methodology, Environmental Laws, Right to Information, Kannada Kali. Etc

Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra

Dr. Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, have put in about 18 years of experience in teaching various subjects of law in some of the reputed law colleges of India. He, obtained B.Sc.(H) degree from S.C. S College, Puri, Odisha with Zoology as honours subject. He completed LL, B, 3years degree course from G.M Law College, Puri, Odisha., Went on to obtain his LL, M, with Commercial Law as his specialization paper from P.G. Dept. of Law, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He qualified UGC- NET in Law.

Dr. Sanjeeb, entered into regular practice in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Judicature at Jabalpur after completing his LL; M. Commenced his teaching carrier from Hitkarni Law College, Jabalpur (M.P). He worked with” Unison School of Law”, Dehradun (Uttarakhand) as lecture, for about 3years, before Joining M.S. Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore in August 2009.He had a short stint at “Symbiosis Law School, Pune, during 2015-16 and ICFAI University, Tripura in 2023, before joining IFIM Law College.

Title of his Ph.D. thesis is “Problems of Women at Work Place with Special Reference to Organized Sector in Odisha: Legal Implications”. He has got his Ph.D from Utkal University, Odisha.

He has ten Articles published in UGC Care Approved Journals and four articles in peer reviewed Journals of repute, as well. His area of interest includes Law relating to women & children’s, Human Right laws, contracts, administrative law, Medical Jurisprudence, etc

Prof. (Dr.) Asha Soman

Dr. Asha P Soman is a member of the Study Group 5.20 of the IAA Commission 5 on Space
Policy, Law and Economy, International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), France. She has more
than a decade of experience in academia and industry. She obtained a Ph.D. in Air and Space
Law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India on the topic Evolving
International Humanitarian Legal Regime for Sustainable Use of Outer Space and its
Application to India. She was the University topper and gold medalist for LLM (Commercial
Law and Human Rights) from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala; and
completed BA LLB (Hons) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India.
She has supervised Doctoral thesis, LLM and LLB dissertations and taught PG and UG classes.
She worked with top law schools in India including Symbiosis Law School, Pune and Christ
University, Bangalore. She also worked as an Advocate and Assistant Director – Knowledge
Management at IndusLaw, Bangalore.
She cleared UGC NET in 2013 and was a part of the UGC Sponsored Major Research Project
with the NLSIU, Bangalore. She has initiated the Air and Space Law Committee at her previous
institution. She also has international and national publications of book chapters, articles in
journals, a handbook, and Scopus/Web of Science indexing. She has presented papers at
numerous international and national conferences and has done certification courses in various
fields.
Dr. Asha has framed the syllabus for Aviation Law and Technology Law and also revised
syllabuses in her previous institutions. Subjects she taught include Jurisprudence,
Environmental Law, Public International Law, Company Law, Property Law, Criminal Law,
Space Law, Aviation Law, Research Methodology, Nuclear Law, Interpretation of Statutes,
Competition Law, Investment Laws, Consumer Protection and Motor Vehicles Act, Insurance
Law, Service Laws, Law of Torts, Case Studies – Hyperlinking and Interlinking, Philosophy of
Life and Lifestyle, Law and Economics, and Law and Political Society. She has revised syllabi

Prof. Bob Nathanael

Bob Nathanael joins IFIM Law School with 10 years of extensive and hands-on teaching and training experience. Previously, he has taught English to students of various age groups and from a wide range of nationalities. He has also successfully prepared students for International English Proficiency Tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, PTE and OET. At IFIM, his core responsibility is to enhance our students’ communication skills. He is also vital member of the Personality Enhancement Program (PEP) at IFIM.

Mr. Nathanael completed his Master of Arts (English) from St Joseph’s Evening College, Bangalore University and his Bachelor of Arts (English) from Prananath College – Autonomous, Utkal University. His areas of academic interests are Second Language Acquisition, Linguistics, Interdisciplinary Literary Studies, British Literature, Indian Literature, Russian Literature, Post-Colonial Studies, European Classical Literature, World Literature, Cultural Studies, Literary Theory, and Creative Writing.

Anjali Prabhakaran (Assistant Professor I LLM)

Anjali Prabhakaran completed her B.A. LL.B from the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and thereafter her LL.M from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, with dual specialization in Criminal Law and Human Rights Law. She also completed a Post- Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi in 2010. Anjali is a member of Indian Society of Victimology. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from School of Law, Alliance University, Bengaluru.

 

Her areas of interest are Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, Public International Law and Family Laws. She has presented papers at several national and international conferences. She has several publications to her credit, her recent one being a chapter in a book titled “The Emerging Trends in Consumer Law” published by Thomson Reuters.

 

She joined the IFIM School of Law in 2023.

Prof. Jharna Jagtiani

Ms. Jharna Jagtiani is a qualified lawyer and a certified Negotiator and Commercial Mediator by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs – Government of India. She has completed her Post Graduation in Human Resource Management specializing in Training and Development. She is a certified PoSH Trainer and Enabler. She conducts PoSH training and awareness programs. 

As an independent practitioner, her work involved assisting start-ups, and small and medium-sized enterprises to set up their internal management and consumer dispute resolution system. As an ADR Practitioner, she has handled cases as sole arbitrator and has facilitated private mediations too. As a legal consultant, she has assisted with legal advice to individuals, small businesses, corporations, departments, and firms with support on compliance, litigation, operation, contract review, research, and consulting.  She is an empanelled mediator and conciliator with IMC International ADR Centre, Mumbai.

Ms. Jagtiani is a Trainer by passion with more than 10 years of experience. She has trained professionals at corporate houses, students, and teachers at various management institutes and law schools on various legal subject matter, compliance & regulatory, and advocacy skills and soft skills. She has developed content for various skill-based training for Management Institutes. She has trained a group of Solicitors, Senior Counsels of the Bombay High Court, and Doctors for negotiation and conflict management. Her training methodology includes an interactive presentation, mind maps, facilitator-led discussions, group discussions, psychometric tests, games, and activities followed by debriefing and feedback sessions.

She has been the Mediation Coach at the Indian Merchant Chambers – Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a century-old leading Chamber of Commerce for “40 Hours Basic Mediator Training Workshop”. Assistant Researcher & Mediation Trainer at Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai for “Certificate Programme in Conflict Resolution via Mediation.” She has been associated with more than 40 educational institutions for training, guest lecture, and keynote speaker.

She is an avid reader and writer. She is awarded the “Best Research Paper” title for her Paper ‘6 Hats of Mediator’ at The National Youth Conference. Prof. Mubarak Khan

Prof. Mubarak Khan is a proven professional with over 6 years of rich experience in teaching and advising culturally diverse undergraduate and graduate students of law. He completed his LL.M in specialization with Labour and Employment Law in the year 2017 from Bangalore University and has cleared KSET in the year 2021. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Law Relating to Agricultural Labour from CMR University, Bengaluru. He is having a distinguished record of publication in academic journals of national and international repute. His special areas of interest include; Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Labour Law, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, Law of Evidence, Law of Torts etc.

Prof. Pooja Ogale is pursuing Ph.D. in Law from National Law Institute University, Bhopal. She has completed her post-graduation from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Prof. Rima Hore

Prof. Rima Hore graduated with a B.B.A. LL.B.(H) degree from the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. She completed her post-graduation in International and Comparative Law at WBNUJS, Kolkata, where she received the gold medal for merit in the specialization. She is presently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at WBNUJS. She has previously worked with Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru and School of Law, NMIMS Navi Mumbai. She has taught a wide range of subjects, including Jurisprudence, Environmental Law, Baking and Insurance Law, Legal Methods, Legal English, Criminal Law I (Indian Penal Code) and Interpretation of Statutes. Prof. Sharu Anna John (Assistant Professor |LLM)

Sharu completed her graduation in Political Science from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She later pursued law from the Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, securing the Second Rank in the University of Kerala. She enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Kerala and subsequently completed her Post Graduation in Law specializing in Constitutional Law with the First Rank in the University of Kerala. She has been awarded the Certificate of Practice by the Bar Council of India and is UGC-NET qualified.

 

As a law student, she did her judicial internship under Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kurian Joseph, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vibhu Bakhru, Judge, High Court of Delhi and Sr. Adv. Mr. Amarjit Singh Chandhiok (then Additional Solicitor General of India), and as a Mirandian, she worked in Taylor and Francis, New Delhi, as a marketing intern.

 

After working in a New Delhi-based boutique corporate law firm, Sharu started litigating in the Supreme Court of India, which, inter alia, required her to assist senior counsels in the Sabarimala Case and in representing the State of Telangana. She started off in academia at Presidency University, Bangalore, where she taught law and political science and was the Exam Coordinator. Prof. Naman Shukla

Naman Shukla is a Corporate and Financial law post-graduate from O. P. Jindal Global University, Haryana. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at IFIM Law School, Bangalore. He has his law graduation in B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from the School of Law, Fair Field Institute of Management and Technology, New Delhi affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGISPU) New Delhi.

Prior to entering into academics, He was previously a Legal Manager at Venus India Asset Finance Ltd, Nodia, Legal Analyst at APTARA, New Delhi, and Research Associate at Concept Legal, New Delhi. He had interned at United IPR, New Delhi, Krishna and Saurastri Associates, New Delhi, Concept Legal Consultants (P) Limited, New Delhi, Chambers of Advocate Vijay Dalal, New Delhi High Court, and Chambers of Supreme Court Advocate Ashish Nischal, New Delhi.

While pursuing his law graduation, he participated in various Moot Court Competitions and Presented & Published multiple research papers on international and national platforms. NITHIN RAJEEV

Nithin Rajeev has specialised in intellectual property and trade law from School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore.  He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at IFIM Law School, Bangalore. He has qualified for UGC NET. He has completed his graduation of law in Integrated B.com. LL.B from Kerala Law Academy, Trivandrum which is affiliated to the University of Kerala.  

Before joining IFIM School of Law, he worked as an Assistant Professor of law in ISBR Law College, Electronic City, Bangalore. He also has corporate experience from working as a Contract Specialist for Futran Tech Solutions, Hyderabad. He has done his internships from the office of Additional Advocate General of Kerala,  Lokyokta,  Human Rights Commission, Women Rights Commission, Child’s Rights Commission and in law firms including VK Satyavan Nair and Associates. 

As a law student during his undergraduation, he was involved in a number of co-curricular and extra curricular activities. He was the student convenor of Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society from 2019-2021, convenor of KLA ADR Board from 2021-2022, convenor of organising and seminar committee from 2020-2022, General Coordinator of Das Nationale Law Fest 2021 and also the student trainer of KLAMCS from 2018-2021.  He participated in the global rounds of the prestigious Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, National Moot Court Competitions and was the winning team for a National Level ADR competition. Apart from this he presented & published several research papers in several law schools across the country in subjects ranging from patent law, rights of tribal communities and wildlife conservation, right to privacy and sexual orientation, consumer rights, food safety and several more.

Prof. Kanimozhi T

Kanimozhi T is an assistant professor at IFIM Law School. She holds an LL.M. degree with a specialization in intellectual property law from the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal. She completed her B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from the School of Excellence in Law, TNDALU, Chennai. Before joining IFIM Law School, she was working as a legal analyst at the Quality Council of India on examinations of trade marks and geographical indications at the office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) in Chennai. She is also an enrolled advocate with a certificate of practice.
Her research interests revolve around Intellectual property rights, constitutional law, criminal law, sports law, human rights, and environmental law .

She won the best research paper award in the national seminar titled “Law and Morality in the Context of the Rights of Sexual Minorities. During her undergrad, she has attended both national and international conferences, published articles in various journals, and also written book chapters. Research, debates, and teaching have always been her long standing interests. Beyond her professional pursuits, Kanimozhi is a devoted football enthusiast, avidly watching matches, while her hobbies include reading books and engaging in writing.

Prof. Parameshwar H S

Prof Parameshwar has a total of 23+ years of professional experience. At the early stage of his career, he was part of the direct sales team for one of the textile majors in India. Then, he moved on to be part of a consulting team which worked on assignments that included Turnaround Management, Rehabilitation of sick industrial companies [to be presented before Board for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction – BIFR] helping revive sick industries across South Indian States.  His other KRAs were Restructuring, Preparation of details project reports for new projects, Techno-Economic Feasibility Studies, Industry and Financial Analysis.

The major stint has been with Thomson Reuters handling Market Data Operations where he grew in levels from an analyst to quality controller to a team leader and handled several different teams with a span of control of 30+. He also dabbled with Project Management and was part of the core team which drove Business Process Reengineering across the financial data providing business unit. His teams spanned from intraday pricing team to end of the day pricing team, master data team, corporate actions team and data quality teams over a span of seven years as team leader.

He went on to build his startup –  MobiTrolley Tech Solutions Pvt Limited – along with his friends in the space of retail analytics and got incubated as part of SAP Startup Focus Program between 2014 and 2016. As an entrepreneur, he has dabbled with Product Development, Market Sizing, Business Plan Canvas, Business Development and Go-To-Market Strategy in the space of retail analytics.

With an enduring desire to become an academician, he started his journey in academia in 2016.  Experienced faculty of finance with a demonstrated history of working in industry and academia. Prof. (Dr.) Nivedita Mishra

Dr. Mishra holds M.Phil. and PhD in Psychology with specialization in Cognitive Psychology and MA in clinical and counselling Psychology. Prof. Vidit Agarwal

An enthusiastic student of law, Mr. Vidit earned his LL.M. from Jamia Millia Islamia’s Faculty of Law
in New Delhi. In 2013, he achieved JRF qualification. His area of expertise was criminal law, and he is now working toward a Ph.D. at the University of Delhi, New Delhi’s Faculty of Law, on artificial facial recognition technology and necessary police reforms. His total experience in teaching, research, and industry is nine years.

In 2013, he commenced his academic career at the IIMT and School of Law, which is associated with GGSIPU
(New Delhi). He served as an assistant professor (ad hoc) at the University of Delhi’s Faculty of Law (Institute of National Importance) for three years. She worked for a brief period as a law clerk cum research assistant at High Court of Karnataka prior to her post-graduation. She has worked in the legal department of Wipro Limited, Bangalore where she was a part of the contracts team reviewing and drafting commercial agreements. She later worked as Assistant Manager- Legal in LIC Housing Finance Limited (HFL), a subsidiary of LIC, where she looked into title verification of documents prior to disbursement of housing loans, recovery of loans and litigation.

He is currently serving as a Visiting Faculty at IFIM. Previously, he was associated with Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies Bangalore as an Assistant Professor for six years and has put in 10 years of total teaching experience in Accounting and Finance. He has taught subjects like Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Strategic Cost Management, Forensic Accounting, and Accounting for Managers for B. Com, BBA, M. Dr. Ananthavalli Ramesh

Dr. Ananthavalli Ramesh is alumnus of NITT and IITM. She has interdisciplinary domain expertise from engineering design, new product development, healthcare research to technology management. She has more than a decade of industry experience with Royal Enfield, GM, Volvo and Caterpillar.

She is a trained six-sigma blackbelt and accelerated by sis-sigma council as a trainer. She has designed the curriculum for developed the curriculum for Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education for the rural MBA programs.

Dr. Ananthavalli Ramesh is a certified technical writer for Clinical Evaluation Report – medical devices. She coined the term ‘Concept Exploration Process’ as part of her M.S. (by Research) program at DoMs, IITM to facilitate new product success. She worked closely with hospitals to deploy patient engagement (patient-centric care) as an outcome of her doctoral research at DoMs, IITM.

She is working on her startup idea to provide patient engagement service to expecting and new mothers. She works closely with students to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset. She has published papers in reputed journals in the areas of healthcare management and product design. Her current focus is on ‘metaverse in healthcare’ and nurturing students in ‘research-entrepreneurship design (RED Hubb)’- an accelerated program.

He holds an MBA Marketing and Finance. His Ph.D research is in the area of Psychographics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He also completed M.Phil in Buying Behaviour from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

He has been in the teaching profession for more than 20 years to Post Graduate and Undergraduate of Business Studies affiliated to various Universities viz., Bharathair University, Anna University and Bangalore University.

He has published various research papers in national and international Scopus indexed journals. He has also a peer reviewer of various Scopus indexed international journals published by Inderscience Publishers, UK. He is a certified ISO Internal Auditor by Bureau Veritas.

Prof. (Dr.) Sridevi Varanasi

Dr. Sridevi has a work experience of over 22 years in teaching, research, and corporate training and is currently the Dean at IFIM School of Management. 

She holds an M.Com and a Ph.D. from Osmania University. Her thesis was “Working of Online trading in Indian Capital Market.” ,2005. Dr.Sridevi is a gold medalist.

At IFIM, she teaches courses like financial statement analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, and Valuation.

Dr. Sridevi was engaged in a faculty-led research project on “A Study on Total Expense Ratios of Mutual Funds in India,” a report submitted to the regulator.   She is associated with leading organizations as a corporate trainer and Subject Matter Expert.

Prof. Ramini Singh is an adjunct faculty in IFIM College, Bengaluru. Currently she is pursuing her PhD. from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. Her main research areas include career transition and career changes in millennials. She has completed her MBA from Anand Agricultural University, with governor’s gold medal to her credit. She is also a post graduate in Science from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. Prior to her joining in IFIM, she completed eight weeks faculty development program from IIM- Ahmedabad. Mr B B Venkatesh has been a teacher by choice and is keen on the holistic development of the student community. He has been into teaching since twenty-two years and passionately working on strengthening the individuals at personality level. He has worked in the The Oxford College of Science, Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology, Vasavi Vidya Niketan and Administrative Management College. He is now serving in IFIM Institutions since 2014. He has been instrumental in starting the NSS unit, YRC unit, Sports-Annual Athletic Meet and Desi Sports. He has been convening international conferences of IFIM, Fusion and Mind Power and now he has been the head of Student Affairs.

He is doing his PhD on Dalit Literature from Swami Vivekananda University Sagar, MP. Apart from his Masters in English from Bangalore University, he has also done his PGDY, Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga from Annamalai University. He is a health consultant, an adventure enthusiast and runs his own rustic adventure club, Rashavi Woods.

He conceptualized an unique programme under the title ‘75for75’ a series of seventy five events to celebrate the seventy-fifth year of Indian independence. The series started with the flag hoisting of 15th August 2021 and ended with the flag hoisting of 15th August 2022.

She began her teaching career as a visiting faculty in Zantye College, Government College Khandola, Goa and St. Xavier’s College, Goa. She the joined as a lecturer in Communication at Government Polytechnic Panaji and later joined the Journalism Department at Don Bosco College, Panaji as an Assistant Professor. She moved to Bangalore in the year 2013 and joined the Department of Languages, T. John College. Since 2016 she has been with the Personality Enhancement Program of IFIM Institutions as Assistant Professor. She is a voracious reader with keen interest in current affairs, writing has been her forte. She has been a freelance journalist, writer, columnist.

She has received the Special Award in T. John for her ability to motivate students to drive large scale initiatives and push them to realise their full potential. She has also held various administrative roles as Chairperson-Women’s Cell and Coordinator of Student Welfare and Grievance cell. She is also Coordinator for various Student Clubs in the previous institutions.

She was Convener of national level seminars and conferences related to the field of English Literature and Media like Kadambari: A national Conference on Narratives,Madhyama:A National Media Conference, Ignite Film Festival: A national level student festival.

At IFIM she has established the Youth Parliament and has been part of core committee of AACSB Accreditation Process, Kanyathon Annual Charity Run and other student related initiatives.

Her monthly column ‘Living Houses’, featured in a Lifestyle magazine Casa e Jardim. One of the articles has been published in a book titled.:Mhamais of Goa in the network of trade and culture, Chapter 18,Page No.120 Titled: House with a History Mhamais of Goa in the network of trade and culture .

Her article titled, ‘The benefits of developing well rounded personalities in Institutions’ was published in ‘Your story’ a web portal.

She Presented a paper on ‘The Role of Audio-Visual media in English language Teaching’ in Jain University, the paper is published in a Research journal ‘Samyoga’.

Her Paper titled ‘Khadi and repositioning: A holistic study on consumers and retailers’, published September 2019 in Colorage Magazine.

Dr. Nataraja N.S is a sincere and skilled professional with around 30 plus years of academic experience. He has made progressive growth in academic career through effective participation, initiatives and focus at assigned responsibilities.

Dr Vidhya Pillai is an academician, author, and researcher with more than 16 years of experience at Post graduate level institutes affiliated to University of Calicut, Mumbai, and Bangalore. She is a commerce graduate, with PG in MBA, PGDCA, M.Phil. and Ph. D in Management. Dr. Vidhya is an approved faculty member of university of Mumbai and throughout her career, she has served several positions and has been at the forefront of heading various committees & end-to-end processes of the institutions she has worked.  She worked with Seasonal Kerala as Marketing coordinator and public relations officer for a short span of time and shifted to academics to pursue her interest in teaching.

Mrs. Sinzy Silvester is an academician with over 15 years of Experience. She has taught both at the Graduate and Post-Graduate levels for courses affiliated to Bangalore University.

She is an organized and a dedicated professional with proven skills in teaching, guidance, and motivation with an ever-approachable nature. She holds a double masters in the areas of Computer Science Engineering and Computer Applications.

Dr Sathya Thangavel holds Ph.D in English Language Teaching. Prof. (Dr.) M. Mahadeva 

Dr. M. Mahadeva has joined IFIM recently as a Professor. He has both teaching and research experience of about two decades and academic administrative experience for over fifteen years. He obtained all three of his degrees from the University of Mysore (1916), including the PhD in Economics (1987- 93) on the theme “Market and Economics” under the guidance of an eminent Economist Professor C.K Renukarya. Since 1992, he was a research faculty of Economics in the Centre for Economic Studies and Research and the Centre for Agricultural Development and Rural Transformation, at the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore. During the stint, he was nominated for the five international fellowships awards by the Commonwealth Commission (2008), Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (2001), Indo-Dutch Programme in Alternative Development (1997) and Indian Council for Social Science Research (2010 & 1998). He was a visiting academic fellow in the University of Bristol, UK (December 2008 – April 2009), University of Toronto, Canada (October 2000- January 2001), Institute for Housing and Urban Studies, (December 1997- January 1998), Institute of Social Studies, The Netherlands (November-December 2010) and Maison Des Science De L’ Homme, France (December 1998). He served at the Planning Commission of India as the Chairman of the Sub-Committee (Twelfth Five Year Plan), Member of the Working Group (Twelfth Five Year Plan), Member of the Steering Committee (Twelfth Five Year Plan) and Member of the Mid-Term Appraisal (Eleventh Five Year Plan). Also, he was the Director of the Board of Management for State Bank of Mysore (Now SBI) from June 2003- November 2006. He has extensively published targeting the academics and general public, covering the areas of housing poverty and deprivation, housing market and housing development players, financial exclusion and inclusion policies, human settlement in urban and rural contexts of the poor and vulnerable households. She holds an M.Com and a Ph.D. from Osmania University. Her thesis was “Working of Online trading in Indian Capital Market.” ,2005. Dr.Sridevi is a gold medalist.
At IFIM, she teaches courses like financial statement analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, and Valuation.

Dr. Sridevi was engaged in a faculty-led research project on “A Study on Total Expense Ratios of Mutual Funds in India,” a report submitted to the regulator. She is associated with leading organizations as a corporate trainer and Subject Matter Expert.

Prof. (Dr.) Sunil George

He is a professional with around 25 years of rich and varied experience in Academics and Administration and is currently heading IFIM Law School, Bangalore. Prior to joining IFIM Law School, he was heading Amity Law School, Kolkata. He was associated with the corporate world for 14 years in the Administration and Legal departments and then went on to pursue his passion and has been associated with academia for the past 11 years and has extensive teaching and research experience. His areas of specialization include Business Law, Company Law, Criminal Law, and Human Rights.

He is also a guide for doctoral research work in Law. He is also a member of the Board of Studies for designing of law curriculum and a subject expert on the panel interview for the recruitment of faculty members at various law colleges. He has also been invited as a resource person to deliver Guest lectures and as a judge for various Debate and Moot Court competitions. He is also actively involved with initiatives for protecting the environment including rivers, water bodies, mangroves, and natural habitat in Charkop area of Mumbai. He was also the recipient of the ‘Best Faculty Award’ for outstanding contribution in Academics and contribution to the corporate life of NMIMS Kirit P Mehta School of Law for the academic year 2018-19.

Prof. Muskan Dargar

Growing up as a child, Muskaan always wanted to be an academician, given the role of an attorney for the mock trial, in her 8th grade is when she realized the importance of legal studies and the thought of pursuing a law degree solidified her mind.

Post her graduation she joined IFIM as Teaching Assistant to the Dean of the institution and a part of the Academics Team. Alongside, she was also assisting the Law School in the Admission Department. She was promoted based on her performance as teaching assistance to Assistant Professor.  Ms. Muskaan loves to interact on topics like – gender justice, religion & law, and constitutional Law.

Prof. Bhoomika Saxena

Ms. Bhoomika Saxena has completed her master’s degree (LL.M.) from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad with specialization in Intellectual Property Rights. She has completed her bachelor’s degree (B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)) from Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad with Criminal Law specialization and has obtained outstanding grades. She has worked as a Legal Advisor at Singhania and Co. LLP. Her primary areas of interest include Intellectual Property Law, Criminal Law, Environment Law and Family Law.

Presently, she is chairing Intellectual Property Rights Clinic (IFIM-IPR Clinic) and Research Center, along with being a Faculty Co-ordinator of Placement & Internships Committee and Social Immersion Program. In addition to her professional achievements, she has authored multiple research papers and has publications in reputed law journals.

Prof. Harsh Vardhan Tiwari

Harsh Vardhan Tiwari is a National Law University graduate (RGNUL, Punjab) specializing in Political Science and Criminal Law and a postgraduate from Buckingham Law School in International Commercial Law, currently pursuing his Ph.D. (Law) from Bennett University.

He has been the Executive Editor of RGNUL Student Research Review, and a member of the Centre for Energy Law, the Center for Consumer Law, and Advocacy, along with the Center for Labour Laws. He was also part of the Quiz Cell (Literary and Debate Committee) of RGNUL.

Over the last 4.5 years, he has mentored over 5000 law school aspirants across the country. He has spoken with more than 10,000 law school aspirants on Law as a Career. He has worked as Project Lead (Maverick) at LawSikho, Head of Operation at CLAT Path, Legal Faculty at CLAT Possible, Educator at Unacademy, Head (CLAT Vertical) at Pahuja Law Academy, and Content Creator at Legal Edge & Toprankers. He worked with the Admissions and Outreach Team at O. P Jindal Global University, where he spearheaded LLM Admissions and set new records.

Prof. Ananyo Mitra

Mr. Ananyo Mitra is a passionate legal researcher and educator. He has completed his LL.M degree in Public International Law from Queen Mary, University of London (Batch of 2018) and his BBA. LLB from School of Law, KIIT University (Batch of 2017). He has worked and interned in reputed research organizations, PSUs and law firms such as Indian Law Institute, The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), Asian African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO), Coal India Ltd. & Fox & Mandal, Solicitors & Advocates, to name a few. Before joining IFIM Law School in the year 2019, Mr. Mitra was researching with Prof. Manoj Kumar Sinha, Director, Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

Rishabh has taught Law of Contracts I, Law of Contracts II and Constitutional Law II. And currently, he is teaching Constitutional Law I, Administrative Law and Social Immersion Program.

At IFIM Law School, Rishabh has chaired the Social Immersion Program; has contributed to Admissions and Outreach and has also worked as the Executive Editor for IFIM Law School’s Newsletter.

As a Faculty Member for the Centre for Alternate Dispute Resolution, he has been an active member of the organising committee for Concordat 2.0, the national ADR Fest of IFIM Law School. He is also a part of IFIM Law School’s committee for organising Kanyathon, 2023, which is the annual event of IFIM Institutions and Vijaybhoomi University, organised to support the cause of upliftment of the girl child.

Before joining IFIM Law School, Rishabh worked as the Course Faculty for Into Legal World’s Certification Course on Law of Contracts, aimed at PCS-J aspirants.

As an Associate Editor for RMLNLU Law Review, Vol. VI, Rishabh has also edited and reviewed important research articles and case comments.
