MOCK PI is a process where the committee conducts an interview of the students to make them ready for their future Job interviews. The IFIM SCHOOL OF LAW conducts four MOCK PI for the final year students to make them industry ready. Each student who has opted in for the placement by the college has to clear at least two mock interviews round to be eligible for campus placements.
The second round of MOCK PI was conducted on 11th February 2023 and was indeed a huge success as it was attended by total of 30 students. Each student had opted different JDs (Job Description) which they want to pursue or which they believe they want to pursue in their career. The JDs offered to the students were Corporate, ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution), Real Estate, IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) and Litigation.
The externals experts in the above-mentioned fields were called as an interviewer. There were two panels of Judges. First panel consisted of Mr. Aditya Jossen, Advocate at Pragati Law Chambers and Mr. Rohan Babu Joseph, Advocate at Karnataka High Court who dealt with Litigation, Real Estate and ADR. The second panel consisted of Ms. Sakshi Gupta, Legal Executive at Purvankara Ltd. and Ms. Swati Jha, Legal Associate at Morae who interviewed the students who had opted corporate and IPR.
The session didn’t only conclude with the interview, but each student was provided personal feedback on how they can improve their skills and knowledge for their Job Interviews. They were also provided with certain tips and tricks on how to crack and impress the interviewer.
The session ended with the externals being presented token of gratitude by the principal of IFIM School of Law, Dr. Sunil George and Officiating head of the Placement Committee, Professor Naman Shukla. This session was only possible because of all the hard work put by the officiating head Professor Naman Shukla and Faculty Coordinator Professor Bhoomika Saxena and the students of the placement committee of IFIM School of Law
