Industry Visits
On May 11, 2024, the MBA II Semester students of the 2022 batch at IFIM College participated in an enriching industrial visit to Titan Company Limited in Hosur. This visit, organized by Dr. Syed Ahamed with Dr. Vidya Pillai as the staff in charge, offered students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the operations within a leading company in the manufacturing sector. The visit allowed students to observe the various processes involved in the production and management at Titan, providing them with a deeper understanding of industrial practices and the challenges faced by companies in the competitive marketplace. During the tour, students were exposed to the intricacies of supply chain management, quality control, and innovation strategies that have made Titan a successful brand. The interaction with professionals at the facility also provided valuable insights into the practical applications of the concepts learned in the classroom. This industrial visit was instrumental in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, enhancing the students’ comprehension of the industry’s workings and preparing them for future careers in management.
