IFIM Law School is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University and is approved by the Bar Council of India. The Law School was a part of the illustrious IFIM Institutes which consists of the recently renames Jagadish Seth School of Management (JAGSOM) and IFIM College. IFIM Law School was founded in the year 2000 and has since revolutionised the legal education system by utilizing novel teaching approaches, technological tools and industry connect.

The Lex Olympiad Jr. is the competition exclusively for 11th and 12th standard students. This IFIM Law School event is crafted to provide a platform for the young to express themselves in the elocution competition. Also, for the first time ever in India a Judgment Writing Competition is being conducted for high school students. This being the first chapter of this competition we want to inculcate an understanding of the law in the young minds.
The elocution competition will have topics from the theme Law and Social Transformation. All the topics of the elocution will emanate from this theme.

The concept of Judgement Writing has been prevalent for quite some time in the legal fraternity. The objective of the participants will be to envisage a given situation from the lens of a Judge, apply the law and render a suitable judgment.A participant is encouraged to think like a Judge and reach a well-reasoned and innovative conclusion.
Essay writing is a sensitive form with a harmonious blend of ‘thought’ and ‘expression’. This style of writing has assumed great importance in competitive examinations. It is considered the most effective test to check how a candidate expresses his thoughts on a topic of common interest in general, unambiguous, and impressive English.

They also promote the development of writing skills and may encourage a healthy sense of competition among the young people who participate in them. Good writing and critical thinking skills are important to succeed in school, employment, and life. By participating in an essay contest, students can hone these skills for their future benefit.
