RULES & GUIDELINES
SOLO SINGING (Canzone solista)
- The participants can select any genre of Hindi or English music.
- Time Limit: 2-3 minutes. A maximum of one song is allowed within the time frame. Exceeding the time limit will lead to negative marking.
- Musical Instruments are allowed. Any special editing will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
- Performance should be in one single take. Submit with adequate lighting and sound quality.
- Candidate will be disqualified for misconduct or obscenity used.
- The video should be shot in portrait mode and file size should not exceed- 200 MB
- File name for submission should be: "Contestant Name_Event Name_College Name"
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Effective usage of instruments.
- Song Selection.
- Vocal Skills.
- Vocal and musical coordination.
- Intonation.
SOLO DANCE (Ballo solista)
- All dance forms are allowed.
- Both Indian and English genre of music can be used. Mashups, remix and fusion of songs is allowed.
- Time Limit: 2-3 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will lead to negative marking.
- Candidate will be disqualified for misconduct or obscenity used.
- Performance should be in one single take. Submit with adequate lighting and sound quality.
- The video should be shot in portrait mode and file size should not exceed- 300 MB

BEAT BOXING (Battere la boxe)
- Do not bite (copy) someone else’s work. We want to hear something new/fresh.
- No instruments are permitted; only sounds made by using the human anatomy.
- Obscenity and offensive gestures are strictly not allowed and will lead to disqualification.
- Performance should be recorded in a single take. Submit with adequate lighting and sound quality.

JUDGING CRITERIA
- Musicality (This is how musical your beatboxing is).
- Technicality (The judges will be looking at not just your speed but for clarity, complexity and timing of your delivery).
- Originality.
MONOACT (Mono Atto)
- There should be only one participant.
- Any usage of vulgar content or religion specific content will lead to disqualification of the participant.
- Usage of only Hindi and English language is allowed.
- Obscenity and offensive gestures are strictly not allowed.
- Performance should be recorded in a single take.
- Submit with adequate lighting and sound quality.
- Time Limit: 3-4 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will lead to negative marking.
- The video should be shot in portrait mode. The file size should not exceed- 300mb

PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETETION
(La Fotografia)
- Only one entry is allowed per photograph.
- The theme of the contest must be strictly adhered to.
- The photograph must be created and taken using a mobile device like smartphone/tablet.
- The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the contest entrant.
- The photograph must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way.
- Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate/ offensive content including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and environmental violation and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited.
- Photo must be in JPEG format and the file should not exceed-

- Creativity and expression.
- Overall composition.
- Precision in idea.
- Distinctiveness in conceptualization.

INSTAGRAM REELS CONTEST
- Only one entry is allowed per entry
- The theme of the contest must be strictly adhered to.
- The length of the reel is the participants choice.
- Obscenity and offensive gestures are strictly not allowed and will lead to disqualification.
- The reel must be uploaded tagging Aura 2021 Instagram handle.
- The reel must be uploaded on or before 30/06/2021.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- The reel will be reposted on the Aura 2021 Instagram handle.
- The reel with the most likes will be the winner.
BEST MANAGER
(Miglior manager)
- Each participant is required to do the submissions on time.
- Dress code: -Formal Attire. All the participants must strictly adhere to the dress code
- He/ She should be present in each sub events on time (Late entry will lead to negative marking.)
- Points will also be added/deducted based on the observation of participants current situation solving approach.
- A surprise sub-event may be added.
MARKETING EVENT
(Evento di marketing)
- Each participant is required to do the submissions on time.
- Dress code: -Formal Attire. All the participants must strictly adhere to the dress code
- He/ She should be present in each sub events on time (Late entry will lead to negative marking.)
- Points will also be added/deducted based on the observation of participants current situation solving approach.
- A surprise sub-event may be added.
ELOCUTION (Elocuzione)
- The topic will be given 30 minutes prior to the event.
- The speech must not exceed 5 minutes in duration (includes a 30s warning). The time limit will be strictly enforced.
- The speaker is expected to deliver a memorized speech and is not allowed to read any part of the speech from papers, notes, or cards. Use of index cards is allowed, but only for reference of outline and key points.
- The participant will have to speak on the provided topic with clarity.
- The judges’ decision will be final.

- Presentation and Speaking Style.
TURN COAT (Girare il cappotto)
- The speaker should prepare both sides of the topic and switch their stance after the given time limit.
- The topic will be provided to the speaker on the spot.
- The participant will be allowed a preparation time of 30 minutes after the topic is given.
- The judges’ decision will be final.
- Each speaker will have to speak for 2 min 30 seconds on the given topic.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- The validity of their points will be taken into account.
- The content will be judged.
- The physical presence, including eye contact, body language and poise, will be noted.
- The speaker’s voice and articulation, including volume, pace, rhythm, intonation, and proper pronunciation, will be judged.
- The language used and the appropriateness as well as the accuracy of the language used will be considered.
POEM RECITATION
(Recitazione di poesie)
- The participants must recite a particular poem.
- The poem must only be in the language English.
- The poem must be recited from memory. Note cards or any other aides will not be allowed.
- Time limit of 1 min will be strictly enforced (a 30 second warning will be signalled by the judges).
- The judges’ decision will be final.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Presentation, including the accuracy of words, and adherence to time limit will be taken into account.
- Clear pronunciation of the words, voice strength, and stage presence will be judged.
ORIGINAL STORY NARRATION
(Narrazione denna storia originale)
- The participant will have to present stories that are authentic, adapted or originally written.
- Stories presented must not touch on sensitive issues such as race, religion, stereotyping, politics, etc.
- Stories must be thematically ‘change versus tradition’
- Props, backdrops, and sound effects are not allowed. Any use of these will allow for disqualification by the judges.
- The time allocated to present the story is 3 to 4 minutes. The bell rings finally at the 4th minute.
- The participant should not read or refer to notes/ reading materials.
- The participant should not be prompted by another person.
- The judges’ decision will be final.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Language Proficiency- correct, clear and accurate pronunciation with correct use of grammar
- Fluency as well as appropriate and effective choice of words, otherwise known as diction, will be judged.
- The presentation/delivery of the story with voice modulation, voice projection as well as clarity will be noted.
- The interest and the appeal of the theme or storyline will be considered along with the significance, impact and integrated values it provides.
