The MBA program is designed to build competencies for corporate employment or higher studies. Emphasis is on developing leadership qualities, team management, communication skills, stress management and time and crisis management so as to fulfill the requirements of management executives. The program demands whole-hearted involvement of the students to meet the challenges of academic schedules and assignments.

The uniqueness of MBA program is in the content, scope of syllabi, teaching methodology and evaluation. The pedagogy adopts various techniques such as group discussions, brain storming sessions, management games, and transaction analysis tackling conflicting situations. Teaching methodologies include class room lectures, industrial visits, case studies, corporate orientation and assignments.

The Post-Graduate Department of Management IFIM ISS offers the innovative and placement assured MBA program of professional competency. The objective of 2-year full-time MBA program is to facilitate the development of individual student as:

Eligibility for Admission

Any graduate or postgraduate in Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Management, Allied Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Medical sciences of University of Mysore or from any other recognized university considered equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to the course. Further the applicant shall have a minimum of 50% in their respective graduation course. A relaxation of 5% is available for SC/ ST & Cat–I candidates. Selection of candidates to the course shall be done as per rules of the University and Government of Karnataka.
